An advocate of living well, with extensive experience of living with pain chats to a clinical psychologist about what she has learned about the complex nature of pain and why, in her experience, everything matters when it comes to pain.

Tina lives with sciatica and experienced a range of different management approaches until she met a physiotherapist who was able to help her expand her understanding of the different factors that are important to the experience of pain. She now advocates for a living well approach to pain and has her own website to help others, livingwellpain.net. Chris is a clinical psychologist who has dedicated her career to working to help people who are living with pain and currently works at Newcastle University.
